A fun and friendly taster of Authentic Streetdance for the launch of our NEW Thursday classes.
Due to the popularity of our Tuesday Acadamy, we are expanding to Thursdays!
Come and join us for a Fantastically Funky session of REAL Streetdance by Authentic Streetdance specialists.
Not only will your children learn a short routine to practice at home, but they will learn some basic techniques and moves to introduce them to the foundations of Authentic Streetdance.
This taster session timings follows the pattern of the Academy (which will start the following week):
Streetdance Class ages 4-7: 16.50-17.35pm
Streetdance Class ages 7-11: 17.45-18.30

What to expect:
Please arrive 10 minutes early to register.
We will start off with a group warm up to engage and energise your child, welcoming them enthusiastically to the world of FUNK! We like to create a sociable and interactive environment, to make new connections with like minded indeviduals, you can rest assured that your child will be improving social skills and confidence, connecting with peers, not just the mirror!
They will be taught some basic Streetdance movements, including foundational grooves of Streetdance, in an engaging and exciting setting.
They will learn a short combination of movements which they can practise at home to perfect their new COOL moves!
This class is FUN, sociable, and expressive, offering a safe and professional space to express your child’s indeviduality and style!
This class enthusiastically delivers an energetic and inspiring class of Freestle dance, Streetdance foundations and Funky games to get your cool kids moving with style ,ready to move onto our Academy, if you want your child to take their Streetdance to the next level!
There are no more FREE Earlybird tickets, do I have to pay?
Yes. They are offered first come first served.
Is this a Drop off and Go class?
Yes. You are kindly asked to wait in the reception area or go grab a coffee whilst the session is on.
My child can be shy, Can I sit and watch in the corner?
No, in our experience, shy children tend to hide behind a grown up rather than get stuck in. We play plenty of interactive games to warm the group up and get the children into a comfortable, relaxed, but positively excited frame of mind. We always have an assistant available for less confident children, that need more support.
Will I have to fill in a sign up form?
Yes. For health and safety, and insurance purposes, you will be asked to fll in a form if it is your childs first time. You will also have to sign them in and out.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
The Worthing train station is just a short walk from the venue.
You may park on the road, and an overflow car park is located just past the venue on the Right.
What can I bring into the event?
Water is advised. You are responsible for any posessions they may bring, and so bring them at your own risk.
What shall my child wear to the event?
Comfortable clothing and footware suitable for exercise should be worn. No jewellery is allowed. Long Hair tied back.
Can my older/younger children attend the session?
No. We strictly work with in the age limits set for a class, to ensure the content is appropriate and enjoyed by all.
Are thee changing facilities at the venue?
There is a dressing room with benches and toilets.
Who will be leading the classes?
Kerry will be teaching the classes. She is a proffessional, authentic Streetdance specialist, who has over a decade of teaching experience for all ages. She is one of the very few, fully qualified, government accredited Streetdance teachers in the UK, who takes her own personal developement as a credible streetdancer just as seriously as her ability to teach it. Not only will she teach you some funky moves and grooves, she will do it with a big smile on her face (unless its time to do the stern gangster streetdance face!) Kerry is extremely passionate on building a Funky Famalam, who remain inspired to continue their streetdance journey.
Will my child be safe?
There is always a first aider on site, and teachers are DBS checked with Chaperones liscence and insurances in place.

What is the cost of the Academy classes after the Trial and how do I sign up?
A full run down of the memberships and options available can be given via email. Our prices are incredibly compettitve, we have monthly options and drop in. You will be given a sign up letter at the taster session with all the information needed.
What if my child has any medical conditions or injuries?
It is upto you to inform the teacher of any medical conditions they might have. If such information is not disclosed, it is a your own risk, and your sole responsibility should they participate. Please consult your GP for any advise, and If appropriate, a letter from your GP maybe required to join the class.
What’s the refund policy?
You may have a full refund if your withdrawel is requested atleast 7days prior to the start of the course.

No, these tickets must be purchased online.
